Built new in 1984 a 3 bedroom winterized (home) cottage approx. at the middle of the island on the South shore. Knotty pine interior, 6" oak plank floors, airtight fireplace, beamed ceiling, 2 acres on Lake Huron waterfront, dining 75 feet from water's edge with a fabulous view.
This cottage is for very particular people. This area of the island has a few very elite retirement residential homes and is very quiet and private.
Catching salmon from boat, and rainbow trout casting from the shore. Includes boat, 73 acres behind cottage with 6 deer stands and Ministry named Deer Wintering Yard.
Enjoy many different species of wildflowers & birds during May & June AND watch the large chinook salmon spawning, hundreds of Sandhill Cranes ready to migrate south, and miles & miles of rail fencing amid the beautiful fall colours in September & October.
Fantastic swimming beach for little children
